Final Day...

Woke up to fog and rain this morning...

Walked around the village while I waited for Laura to arrive. No lift line this morning!

Once Laura arrived, we did some shopping and ate dinner...

Another Whistler visit for the books...

Blacks, Blues, Greens, Rainbows and Uni... Bears!

Woke up to rain this morning...

Decided to go do laundry and get breakfast, all in the same diner...

The pancakes put me in a food coma so I walked around the village for a while before taking a nap! I was betting that the rain would stop and I'd get out for the afternoon. The rain stopped, but the fog stayed put on the mountain. Time to go...

Rode my favorite trail in Garbanzo, Original Sin, a couple of times today...

To No Joke... 

Back up for another lap on Original Sin... Even saw a small chubby bear run across the road in front of me!

Finished the evening off with multiple laps down Dirt Merchant to several of the blue and green trails on the lower mountain and a final lap down lower A-Line... 

Rode til closing time again and felt like I had the park to myself on the last lap... 

Uneventful...

No mechanicals, no flat tires, & no wrecks. Just a relaxed day of walking around town and riding which is just the way I like it.

Started the day of riding off by riding the lift up to the top of Garbanzo.

My intention was to get some pics on the Blue Velvet wall ride, but it was closed for maintenance so instead, I worked my way down hitting some other features instead.

The fallen tree leaning against another tree was my natural tripod. I should've gotten a video of me walking/shimmying up and down it!

Another session on Fade to Black... Definitely the tallest drop I've ever hit!

Detroit Rock City... 

Clown Shoes 2... I was hoping to work my way up to the new Clown Shoes 2 exit drop, but I'm not sure the Fade to Black road gap is enough preparation.

Finished the day off with some Pizza again, but this time at Misty Mountain Pizza.

I Started the morning off in the park for a couple of laps before the crowds came & the line got long...

I then headed off to one of my favorite valley trails, Lower yer saddle. 

Next, I did some exploring around the Trash trail & found all kinds of alternate trails & lines that I didn't remember seeing before. They didn't lend themselves to pics so I just rode on. After a quick lunch, I rode AC/DC. 

Back to the park...

Until I dented the rear rim on Filthy Ape & subsequently  burped all the air from the tire & then started walking down from Garbo! Luckily, a few borrowed pumps got me to the top of the Fitz lift where I downloaded.

Once down, I aired up at a shop & rude back to the condo. After a spare tube failed to inflate, I grabbed the Enduro & off I went!... again!

Until I got another dent & flat on the GLC drop! I didn't notice until I got to the top of the lift & totally forgot I had my spare tube & CO2 this time so I rode the lift down again! 

I decided to call it a day since it was 8 & closing time for the bike park. Dinner on the way back to the condo.

Much needed rain...

Rode up in Garbanzo in the rain today. Eventually, the rain made it's way down to the rest of the valley.
